Originally from South Africa, Andrew Siu graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music at Rhodes University. He then moved to Vancouver BC to study Sound Design for Visual Media at Vancouver Film School. During his time there he worked on a plethora of projects in both film and video games, and in multiple disciplines of sound including recording, editing, and mixing.

In pursuit of good storytelling, Andrew makes use of a wide spectrum of sounds both natural and beyond. Recording out in the field and in studio allows him to get the right sounds to suit the picture. With a bit of editing and design, Andrew can give your spark of lightning with a roaring boom of thunder.

During his study in Vancouver Film School he worked on collaboration projects with the film and game campuses.

He was the boom operator and foley artist for the episodic Easy Money Episode 2, and the SFX mixer for the pilot episode of Written Off as well as the SFX editor for it's second episode.

He also worked on a game project called Sun's Out Guns Out as the SFX designer and foley artist.
